APL – Association of Professional Landscapers

The APL provides homeowners with a greater assurance when selecting a landscaper. As a customer, you can feel confident that the APL landscaper you have chosen
has met prescribed professional standards. By choosing wisely, you can ensure that you are never caught out by a rogue trader, and the quality and standard of work will
remain high at all times. The Association of Professional Landscapers is at the forefront of developing and maintaining professional standards and services, providing you
with the confidence you need when choosing a landscaper. The APL also offer arbitration and disputes for their contractors and customers of them should there be any
problems

BALI – British association of landscape industries

Whether you’re planning a new garden feature or a complete redesign, you can be confident that when choosing us as a BALI Member, that the work will be completed
to the highest professional standards. The British Association of Landscape Industries is the UK’s largest trade association, for professional landscapers, designers and allied services. It supports and inspires members to create beautiful gardens, and promotes their professionalism so that you can make the right choice for your garden. As a customer you also have the comfort
of knowing that the BALI Dispute Resolution Service is in place to mediate between you and ourselves should there be any disagreements or issues.

 

HTA – Horticultural trades association

The HTA is all about supporting UK garden businesses. They proudly have 1,500 garden retailers, growers, manufacturers and landscapers currently in membership. Its an
association set up to help support and grow UK business in the horticulture industry through training and development making sure to keep standards of work high.

Trustmark

TrustMark is the Government Endorsed Quality Scheme covering work a consumer chooses to have carried out in or around their home. When a consumer uses a
TrustMark Registered Business, they know they are engaging an organisation that has been thoroughly vetted to meet required standards, and has made a considerable
commitment to good customer service, technical competence and trading practices.
Highlighting the 3 key cornerstones of quality, technical competence, good customer service and good trading practices. TrustMark gives consumers increased confidence

CHAS – Contractors health and safety assessment scheme

CHAS (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) was created by experienced health and safety professionals in 1997 to improve health and safety standards
across the UK. CHAS was a key developer of the core criteria held in the Approved Code of Practice which supported the Construction (Design and Management)
Regulations 2007 (now recognised as CDM 2015) and is a founder member of SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement). As one of the founders of third party accreditation
we are not only a trusted advisor on health and safety compliance, we are an authority. We set industry benchmarks, provide assurance and reassurance, and offer best-inclass services that are easy to use and cost effective.

Marshall’s

The Marshall’s Register of Accredited Landscape Contractors and Driveway Installers is a national network of recommended professionals. Although we are not employed by Marshall’s, we agree to abide by our own installation guidelines and are all vetted by Marshall’s assessors.
You can find the site assessment form that Marshall’s use to monitor registered members who are checked regularly by regional assessors on the Marshall’s website.
Marshall’s recognises the vital part the installer plays in the correct installation of their products. They set up the Marshall’s Register of Accredited Contractors and Driveway Installers to ensure that customers buying our products enjoy peace of mind combined with the guarantee of a quality end product finished to the highest standards.
